Le Labo Santal 33

The "Modern Frontier." Santal 33 is a Woody Aromatic fragrance inspired by the American West and the image of a cowboy sitting by a fire under a vast night sky. It is famous for its "dry" and "linear" sandalwood profile. It avoids the creamy, sweet sandalwood found in traditional perfumery, instead using Papyrus and Australian Sandalwood to create a scent that is smoky, leathery, and slightly herbal. It is iconic for its "pickle-like" crispness in the opening (caused by the violet and papyrus) which settles into a rich, rugged, and clean woodiness that lasts all day.

• Apply : Santal 33 is notoriously powerful. It has incredible "clinging" power once it gets on a wool coat or a scarf .
• Occasion : The ultimate Signature Scent. It is 100% Unisex and works in any season. Because it is a "dry" wood rather than a "warm" wood, it is one of the few heavy woody scents that smells incredible in the Summer heat, as it never becomes cloying.
• Store : Because the juice contains a high concentration of perfume oils and is kept in clear glass, it is extremely light-sensitive. To prevent the scent from turning "sour" or losing its smoky edge, store it inside its brown cardboard box or in a dark, cool cabinet.
